Trail Love Day at Breakneck Ridge

It’s the Summer of Trail Love at Breakneck Ridge!

The Trail Conference is working hard to improve trails at Breakneck Ridge, but we need your help! We’re looking for adventure-seekers who aren’t afraid to get a little dirty, enjoy being outdoors, and want to give back. We’ll give you all the skills you need to help create a safe trail for hikers to enjoy.
Give a few hours of your time, and you’ll get:

–A friendly welcome from our Taconic Trail Crew at the Breakneck Ridge Metro-North train station. No car needed since this train station drops you off right at the Breakneck trailhead!
–Snacks
–Giveaways
–All the skills you need to help us improve trails, taught by our awesome trail professionals
–The rewarding feeling of restoring a trail for future generations to enjoy and explore the outdoors

Hike. Camp. Give Back.

Want to make a weekend out of it? Everyone participating in a Trail Love Weekend at Breakneck Ridge is invited to stay at the Welch Trail Education Center, our camp in Harriman State Park, before and/or after each event. You need your own transportation, and must give us notice when you sign up that you’d like to stay over. Come work, play, and camp with us!
