Don’t let ticks keep you inside! Ticks and Lyme Disease are a concern in Sullivan County, but there are ways to reduce your risk of getting sick from a tick!
Come see how to identify the different ticks found in Sullivan County and which ones can cause Lyme Disease. Learn ways to minimize your risk of tick bites while enjoying the great outdoors Sullivan County has to offer. You can also learn ways to reduce the tick habitat in your backyard and help reduce the number of ticks found on our pets. The discussion will also cover the correct way to remove a tick if you do get bit, and what to do and look for after a tick bite. Come on out and get ready for Spring!
