Taste of Rock The Ridge and Meet the Trail Conference Team

Come check out the Rock The Ridge course in Minnewaska State Park, and meet some of the folks from NY-NJ Trail Conference who are raising funds to for land acquisition throughout the Hudson Valley in support of trails and natural wilderness. https://www.nynjtc.org/news/trail-conference-participate-rock-ridge-raise-funds-land-conservation

This will be a roughly 10-mile hike at a moderate pace. If there’s demand, we could split into running and hiking groups. Depending on conditions, snowshoes, microspikes, or other traction aids may be necessary. Please check back closer to event date for an update on conditions.

We’ll meeet at 9:30 AM at the Peterskill office of Minnewaska State Park Preserve, which is a mile or so south/east of the main entrance — here’s the spot on google maps: https://goo.gl/maps/orSovLxmZZo.

Please note there’s a $10 parking fee per vehicle.

Afterwards, we plan to stop by in New Paltz for some snacks and beverages.
