Snowshoe Hike

March 4, 2018 @ 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm

  • « JASON DARLING
  • Songs and Stories of the ’60s »

On Sunday, March 4th, Lisa Lyons of Morgan Outdoors and Cindy Taylor of the Delaware Highlands Conservancy will lead a Snowshoe Hike at The Forest Reserve at Smallwood, a 134-acre protected property in Bethel, New York. The 1-mile loop is on fairly even terrain, with gentle hills through white pines and along White Lake Brook.

Snowshoes are available for rental in advance from Morgan Outdoors or other area outfitters. If the ground is not snow-covered, the event will be a hike. Please dress warmly with appropriate waterproof footwear. Snowshoes will not be provided at the meeting location; participants must bring their own.
