Natural Dyes Workshop

Indigo & Bundle Dyeing with Christi Johnson of Mixed Color.
We’ll be working with locally grown indigo, plus native plants (may include black-eyed susan, goldenrod, coreopsis, marigold, elderberry, pokeberry and sumac) for bundle dyeing, a process in which flowers and plants are enclosed in fabric and then steamed or immersed in hot water to extract the pigments and produce a print. Limited to 10 people. Light snacks and refreshments will be served.
