Vocalist Marissa Mulder’s award-winning cabaret show, “Tom… In His Words,” tackles Tom Waits’ “gin-soaked, hard-luck” songs with heartbreaking innocence and honesty.

The New York Times says Mulder “has a voice with a bounce and a twinkle that recalls that much missed pop-jazz pixie Blossom Dearie. Far and away the season’s best cabaret show, it is everything the genre can be but almost never is.”
