Chris Bergson at Downtown Barn

New York Blues Hall of Famer Chris Bergson will be back for his 3rd year at Downtown Barn with his soulful companion Ellis Hooks!

Playing originals that are hard to dintinguish from songs that you’ve heard on the radio all your life, Chris and Ellis are guaranteed to kick off your Autumn is style!

Chris draws influence from the greats: BB King, Levon Helm, Muddy Waters, John Coltrane, and many more. He has even played with a few of them. And if you haven’t heard Ellis Hooks before, listen to an Otis Redding record and you’ll get a pretty accurate idea of what he’s going for. Needless to say, if you like music, you’ll enjoy this show!
