Big Eddy Selects: Winter Film Screening

“Any girl can be glamorous,” Hollywood siren Hedy Lamarr once said. “All you have to do is stand still and look stupid.”

But stupid she wasn’t. The new film “BOMBSHELL: The Hedy Lamarr Story” explores the complex journey of a woman who was much more than her beauty. A genius inventor, Lamarr is now credited with discovering the technology that makes modern WiFi possible.

The film, directed by Alexandra Dean, will be screened on Saturday, March 24 at 2 pm at Delaware Valley Arts Alliance, 37 Main Street, Narrowsburg as part of the DVAA’s winter Salon Series.

Admission is free, and donations are appreciated. Seating is limited and available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
