Wilderness First Aid Workshop

Looking to take your outdoor skills to the next level?
Join us for a Wilderness First Aid Workshop on September 15-17. This course is being offered at a special rate, so sign up today and prepare for the unexpected! https://bit.ly/tc-wfa17

Wilderness First Aid CPR/AED course offered at the Welch Trail Education Center. Course fee required; overnight accommodations are available at no extra charge.

Course schedule:
Friday – noon to 5 p.m.: CPR/AED Training
Saturday – 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.: Wilderness First Aid Training
Sunday – 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.: Wilderness First Aid Training

Combined WFA and CPR AED $235.00

Completion of either or both of these courses results in a 2-year American Red Cross CPR/AED (Adult) certification for the participant.

Wilderness First Aid Course $180.00

The Wilderness and Remote First Aid (WRFA) course includes 16 hours of instruction; normally presented as a two-day course taught from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm each day.

WRFA instruction provides the first aid principles and skills to respond to emergencies and to give care in areas without immediate emergency medical services (EMS). This includes wilderness and remote environments, as well as urban environments experiencing natural or man-made disasters.

CPR/AED (Adult) course $65.00

The CPR/AED (Adult) course is a “Blended Learning” course, consisting of online-learning, followed by an instructor-led hands-on skills session. Participants MUST complete the online portion of the training 72 hours prior to class and bring printed or digital proof of their online certificate of completion to the classroom skills portion of the training.

This course is taking place at the Welch Trail Education Center in Harriman State Park. Overnight accomodations available. Meals are not provided however, a full kitchen is available for use. You must be 16 or over to participate in this course and be 18 or over for overnight accomodations.

Because we are pleased to be able to offer these courses at a special rate, no further discounts apply.
