Rilla Askew, the award-winning novelist of masterful historical fiction, will give her first public reading from a new novel in progress, based on the life of Anne Askew (no relation), a religious martyr burned at the stake during the Tudor reign of Henry VIII.

Paul Austin, who for ten years ran the Liberty Free Theatre in Liberty, NY, will give the first public reading of a just completed sixteen-poem sequence titled “Mother and Son.” He was also active with Sullivan Peace and Justice and the Sullivan County Human Rights Commission.
