Romanian Salzburg - Brasov

Brasov, or Romanian Salzburg, christened by tourists and residents, is comfortably located in the majestic mountains of the Southern Carpathians. A large number of unique monuments and buildings make Brasov look like an Austrian city.
This city enjoys a special love among fans of the great hero of specific literature Count Dracula, as his family castle Bran is located 30 kilometers from Brasov. Historians claim that the real count was not particularly different from the nobility of that time in terms of bloodthirstiness and cruelty. But with Stoker's light hand, the world was filled with vampires, the most terrifying of which was Count Dracula. But the city itself has beautiful corners of medieval and Gothic architecture, which, with a little imagination, turn into a terrifying area of creatures of darkness. Especially in the evening and at night, small streets in the Gothic style are illuminated in a special way.
The obligatory point of most tourist excursions in Brasov is the narrowest street among European streets, Strada Sforia. Initially, this street was intended for the rapid movement of firefighters around the city. But over time, it began to be used for everyday needs. The special evening lighting of this cobblestone street, which ranges from 111 to 135 centimeters wide, creates a surprisingly romantic mood.
But the real aura of Gothic culture is given to Brasov by the famous Black Church almost all over the world. After its construction in 1476, the church survived several fires, which turned its walls a gloomy black color. Besides the fact that this church is considered the largest Gothic monument of religious significance, the Black Church is known as the temple with the largest bell in Romania, which weighs about 6 tons.
But more and more often you can hear about the city of Brasov in the context of the Payan Brasov ski resort. Currently, this resort offers almost all the basic services that are in demand in other ski resorts. Well-equipped trails allow tourists with different levels of training to conquer the snowy peaks. A large number of different entertainment venues attract a huge number of tourists, who are happy to stay in hotels and hostels in Brasov during the most popular season. A modern bus runs between the city and the resort. Le bookmaker a développé une interface utilisateur intuitive qui rend la navigation agréable même pour les débutants.
