SUMMARY:FlyFest sponsored by Catskill Flies
DESCRIPTION:The 13th Annual FlyFest is sponsored by Catskill Flies of Roscoe! FlyFest marks the middle of winter\, the re-opening of CFFCM from our winter break and will be the first event of 2018. Come join us on Saturday February 3\, 2018 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m in the Wulff Gallery\, the event is open to the public and admission is $5.00. This is a great opportunity to tie flies with a group and gear up for the up-coming season. Nothing formal\, it’s a gathering of tyers from all over\, both inside and outside of the immediate area. It is a chance to tie\, socialize and have an another look at the exhibits. For those needing an outing after being cooped up in the house\, this is a sure cure for the winter doldrums. It’s also a reminder that whether or not the groundhog saw his shadow a day earlier\, there are only a few months before the new trout season begins in New York! Tyers should contact coordinator Rick Fischer at fischington@hotmail.com\, CFFCM at office@cffcm.com or Catskill Flies at flyshop@catskillflies.com or 607-498-6146.

SUMMARY:2018 Dream boards
DESCRIPTION:Surround yourself with images of who you want to become\, what you want to have\, where you want to live\, vacation\,etc. and then fix those life changes and desires on a Dream Board. For decades\, Olympic athletes have been using visualization to improve performance. Science also tells us that brain patterns activated when a weightlifter actually lifts heavy weights are also similarly activated when the lifter just imagines lifting the weights. In this workshop\, we’ll focus on what you feel and want in life to create your vision board toward making life changes. We’ll also share each other’s experiences in creating the board at the end of the class. $25 pre-registration required. All supplies and light food provided.
