DESCRIPTION:In a daylong onsite workshop at the Conservatory\, participants will learn the scrappy and resourceful art of silk screening. Counterculture embraced the art form throughout history for its quick and graphically stunning results. Connections to our exhibits are obvious as there will be a gallery of black lit posters in the special exhibit\, Peter Max artifacts\, and advertisements for the Woodstock Fair will be represented via a slide show. From design basics to materials to equipment and the history of the poster and its impact on grass roots movements\, this is an enticing prototype for adult arts programming. SUMMARY:Lakeside Yoga in the Park
DESCRIPTION:Yoga in the Park – Thursdays at 5 p.m. and Saturdays 9 a.m.\,  Kauneonga Lake Community Park\, Kauneonga Lake\, NY 12749 (corner Route 55 and Lake St).  Instructor Katryna Rokicki will lead power Vinyasa\,  a form of yoga that focuses on all of the body\, conecting the breath with body movements. Ms. Rokiki studies with Page Heldt at The Yoga Joint in Ft. Lauderdale\, FL and is currently affiliated with Body\, Mind\, Spirit Wellness Center in Mongaup Valley\, NY.  FREE. Bring a yoga mat. In the event of rain yoga will take place at the Beekman Pavilion behind Sticky Fingers in Kauneonga Lake.  Presented by the Bethel Healthy Community Task Force and the Town of Bethel.  Made possible in part by a Healthy Community Initiative Grant from Sullivan Renaissance.
