SUMMARY:Take Back the Trail: Breakneck Clean-up
DESCRIPTION:Come help us remove trash at Breakneck Ridge! \nJoin the Hudson Valley Hikers\, NY State Parks & Historic Sites\, and Trail Conference volunteers as we remove trash and restore the beauty of Breakneck Ridge. Anyone can participate. No experience is necessary. Bring work gloves\, plenty of water (at least one liter) and a lunch you can eat on the trails. We provide the trash bags and refreshments. \nPlease be advised that this hike is not just a walk in the park. Breakneck Ridge is a steep rock scramble that is for experienced hikers in excellent physical condition only. The trail ascends 1\,250 feet in only 3/4 mile. \nMeet us at 8:45 at the Breakneck Ridge Trailhead Parking Lot off of 9D in Beacon\, N.Y. As parking space is limited\, carpooling will be very helpful. \nPlease sign-up in advance so that we know how many people are coming and can let you know of any changes of plans: https://bit.ly/tc-breakneck1017

SUMMARY:WoodsTalk:Live presents: "Survival Tools in the Age of Fake News"
